Intern Spotlight: Declan McDaid and Kelly Dahlke
Our interns are making a difference in Gainesville City/Hall County. This month’s spotlight focuses on interns Declan McDaid and Kelly Dahlke.
We truly appreciate Center Point’s role in providing our school with such wonderful counselors who create brighter futures for our children. This year, we have had the amazing opportunity to work with Center Point’s counseling services. Two Center Point social work interns, Kelly Dahlke and Declan McDaid, have been assigned to our school.
Both Kelly and Declan have a strong desire to help improve children’s lives. They are providing much needed mental health counseling in a one-on-one setting. Kelly and Declan also work with teachers to ensure that students reach their academic potential in addition to helping students deal with emotional problems. Kelly and Declan have an excellent rapport with students and teachers. They are intelligent, professional and dedicated clinicians.
