Learning About Gangs

Joe Amerling, investigator for the City of Gainesville Gang Task Force, came to speak to the counseling staff at Center Point in order to educate and equip counselors to identify the presence of gangs in Gainesville and Hall County. Amerling shared his knowledge of gang culture and prevalence, providing insights for how to work with students who are involved in gang activity.
