Nearly 23% of high school seniors in Hall County report that they drink. This is a slightly higher percentage than the state as a whole. Of those Hall County seniors who report drinking, 58% of them report that they drink alcohol at a friend’s house and 15% report drinking in cars.

Center Point welcomes Matthew Perryman Jones and band to Brenau University’s Pearce Auditorium. The concert will begin at 8:00 p.m., with doors opening at 7:30. All proceeds support the students and families of Greater Hall County through the activities of Center Point.

SWAT (Students Working Against Tobacco) is officially off and running. Training took place August 25, at St. Paul United Methodist Church. 65 students were in attendance, representing all 7 Hall County middle schools. Needless to say, we’re looking forward to a great year!
